SA’s Covid deaths rise to highest since January 27

South Africa reported 633 coronavirus deaths on Tuesday, the highest number since January 27 when 753 people died.

Officially 65 142 people have died of the disease in the country, according to a statement from the National Institute for Communicable Diseases. Health researchers say the real number could be triple that.
