Checkout the new features on the NedBankMoney app

According to the Divisional Executive of Consumer Banking, Mutsa Chironga, the app has been downloaded over a million times and the amount of Nedbank clients that are using the features is growing. 

The NedBankMoney app also introduced a the Scan to Pay function that allows anyone who uses the app on their cell phone or tablet a physical or online vendor who offer MasterPass, Snapscan, [email protected] or Zapper QR codes as payment options. 

The executive said that the bank will also be introducing a cross-border remittance solution that allows people that are living and working in the country to send money across the border to their loved ones. 

Developed in collaboration with the bank’s alliance partner Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, the function will allow Nedbank account holders to easily send money people that have Ecobank accounts in 33 African countries. In most of the cases, the funds will be transferred immediately. 

Loan offers is another new feature from the bank and it will give qualifying Nedbank clients a simpler way to get a personal loan. Nedbank clients will receive a choice of loan offers that will be tailored to them giving them the option of choosing which one is best for them. 

The money will be paid directly in their account when they need it. Chironga also mentioned a Live Chat feature that will give clients the ability to communicate with Nedbank directly and immediately.
