Commenting on unaudited mid-month fuel price data released by the Central Energy Fund, the AA predicts an increase in the petrol price of up to 50 cents per litre while diesel is expected to decrease by up to 56 cents a litre and illuminating paraffin a decrease of 75 cents per litre.

The AA says motorists currently have an unusual capacity to absorb fuel price increases due to the restriction of movement with regards to the ongoing lockdown.
