Business indicator down 0.5% in August
The South African Reserve Bank’s composite leading business cycle indicator fell 0.5% month-on-month in August as sales of commodities, vehicles sales and hours worked in the manufacturing sector decreased, data showed on Tuesday.
The indicator collects data including vehicle sales, job advertisements, business confidence and money supply to gauge the outlook for Africa‘s most industrialised economy.
