Eskom implements stage two load shedding from 4pm
Eskom has announced that stage two load shedding is due to start at 4pm this afternoon and last until 5am in the morning.
In a statement, the power utility says there is a possibility of load shedding continuing throughout this week due to cold weather conditions developing across parts of the country.

Due to the cold weather, households are using electrical appliances to try and stay warm and this is pushing up power demand.
Eskom has urged the public to use electricity sparingly to assist capacity constraints.
