Statistics South Africa says unemployment in the country is at its highest since 2008. In its Quarterly Employment Statistics (QES) third-quarter report, StatsSA says South Africa’s unemployment rate has increased by 7.5% points to 30.8% in the third quarter of the year compared with the second quarter.
