North West to re-advertise road construction tender following company liquidation

The North West provincial department of Public Works and Roads, says it is re-advertising a tender for the construction of a 15 KM road in Lokaleng village in Mahikeng.

Departmental Spokesperson, Matshube Mfoloe, says R52 million was initially set aside by government for the road but that the initial contractor was liquidated.

“We are now going to advertise. That project is going to be a 15km project for the upgrading of that road from gravel to tar. It is that road from Lokaleng that includes villages of Mogosane and Tlapeng,” says Mfoloe.
