SA to receive $547m from Global Fund to tackle HIV, Tuberculosis

South Africa will on Thursday sign a grant agreement for $547 million with the Global Fund, a donor organisation that tackles AIDS, TB and malaria.
The money will be used to fund the government’s AIDS and TB programmes and will cover the period from April this year until March 2025, South African government said in a statement on Thursday.
