SA’s net foreign reserves fall to $43.24bn in April
South Africa’s net foreign reserves fell slightly to $43.245 billion in April from $43.266 billion in March, the Reserve Bank said on Thursday.
Gross reserves fell to $49.538 billion at the end of April from $49.679 billion in the prior month, central bank data showed.
The forward position, which represents the central bank’s unsettled or swap transactions, was $1.874 billion in April from $2.047 billion in March.
