SA’s net foreign reserves inch up to $50.7bn in September

South Africa’s net foreign reserves rose to $50.665 billion in September from $50.515 billion in August, the Reserve Bank said on Wednesday.

Gross reserves fell to $54.420 billion from $55.748 billion. The forward position, which represents the central bank’s unsettled or swap transactions, rose to $4.189 billion from $3.761 billion.
