SA’s trade surplus grows to R28.96bn in February

South Africa’s trade surplus widened to R28.96 billion ($1.96 billion) in February from a revised surplus of R12.42 billion in January, data from the revenue service showed on Wednesday.

Exports increased by 16.5% on a month-on-month basis to R128.25 billion, while imports rose 1.6% to R99.29 billion, the South African Revenue Service said.
