South Africa’s gross domestic spending up 3%

South Africa‘s real gross domestic expenditure expanded 3% in the second quarter after shrinking by 3.4% in the first, the statistics agency said on Tuesday.

Household expenditure increased 2.8% after shrinking 0.6% in the previous three months. Government expenditure was also up 2.8%, while gross fixed capital formation expanded by 6.1%.
