TABLE-SA’s February budget deficit narrows to R3.38bn
South Africa recorded a budget deficit of R3.38 billion ($233 million) in February, compared with a shortfall of R12.83 billion in the same month a year earlier, National Treasury data showed on Wednesday.
The tables below show revenue and expenditure for the eleventh month of the 2021/22 fiscal year (April to March), compared with the previous fiscal year.
These are also expressed as a percentage of the 2021/22 revised estimate and audited outcome for 2020/21.
