Trump pledged to help Africa fight coronavirus – Ramaphosa

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump pledged to help South Africa and Africa in its fight to stop the spread of coronavirus.

Ramaphosa spoke to Trump earlier Thursday by phone, according to statements published on his Twitter account.

I had a very productive call with His Excellency President @realDonaldTrump of the United States of America. We discussed the impact of #COVID19 on our two countries.
