The rise of e-commerce and social interaction selling

At the International Spirits Challenge (ISC), held in June 2016 in the UK, The Glenlivet achieved gold for its Master Distiller’s Reserve and seven silver awards. The Master Distiller’s Reserve is a special edition Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, launched in honour of master distiller Alan Winchester.

The silver awards were for The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve, The Glenlivet Master Distiller’s Reserve Solera Vatted, The Glenlivet Master Distiller’s Reserve Small Batch and a silver each for its expressions in the new Nàdurra craft whisky range – The Glenlivet Nàdurra Peated, The Glenlivet Nàdurra Oloroso, and The Glenlivet Nàdurra First Fill.

Recognised as the most authoritative, respected and influential spirits competition in the world, the ISC is supported by many leading spirits producers as the international standard for quality and excellence. The ISC Tasting Awards winners are established through a rigorous judging process, held over seven days of intense blind tastings by panels of more than 50 respected and experienced industry professionals.

“Winning an ISC award is an impressive achievement for any spirit that passes the scrupulous blind tasting by its panel of judges. It is a proud achievement for our portfolio of Scotch whiskies to receive top awards at this year’s competition and winning a gold for The Master Distiller’s Reserve is an honour. Hats off to our Master Distiller, Alan Winchester,” comments Pernod-Ricard marketing manager Scotch Whiskies, Shelley Reeves.
