‘Urban Circle’ student housing from R3,150 per month

DigsConnect, the largest student accommodation platform on the African continent, are well known for their out-of-the-box marketing to students around South Africa. This time they’ve partnered with well known property development company Quorom properties to launch their exciting new student offering.

On Friday last week DigsConnect hosted a super exclusive student influencer tour of the new buildings which included 17 well known UJ and Wits student influencers being fetched in a hummer limousine and taken for a sneak-peek tour of the new facilities which include fully furnished NSFAS accredited en-suite units, a netball court, football field, yoga room, student rooms, entertainment areas and a shuttle service to the university campuses.

“We wanted to allow students to view the property through the eyes of the influencers, from the comfort of their homes,” says DigsConnect CEO, Alexandria Procter. “This was a really unique way of us bringing the property to students, wherever they might be, promoting inclusivity.”

David Mayers from Quorom says, “It was a no brainer to work with DigsConnect on this launch. They understand the student market, and they were super excited about our new offering for students. It was a fantastic synergy!”

To end off ‘launch week’ the two companies hosted one of the biggest parties of the year at the Eastside Building, which is part of the Urban Circle node, which attracted in excess of 1,500 students from UJ, Wits and surrounding colleges. DigsConnect has a unique partnership with an enormous social media platform which has tens of thousands of student followers.

Greg Keal, head of marketing at DigsConnect says, “The party was incredible! Firstly because 1000’s of students were able to see this incredible property but also because it was so much fun! This is a super stressful time of year for students, and having something to let off some stress and have fun with friends was a real treat.”

Keal adds; “We are immeasurably proud to be working with the Quorom/Urban Circle team, who are as passionate about safe, affordable and accessible student housing as we are. We knew that we had to be part of their launch campaign.”
