BitCo to expand into home fibre market

Business-focused Internet service provider BitCo has announced it will start offering services to home users from next month.

From 1 October, BitCo will offer fibre-to-the-home broadband, the company said on Tuesday.

It plans to launch uncapped home fibre Internet with speeds of 20Mit/s, 50Mbit/s, 100Mbit/s and 200Mbit/s, it said in a statement. It will offer both symmetrical and assymetric line speeds.

The company is offering the home fibre service on the back of Vumatel’s fibre network, according to its website.

It has not yet published pricing for the various packages. Sales director Michael Colin said the pricing will be “competitive” and the company will offer 24-hour support and month-to-month agreements.  — (c) 2018 NewsCentral Media
