TechCentral’s top 5 podcasts in November: what did you miss?

A debate between Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse CEO Wayne Duvenage and Electronic Toll Collection CEO Coenie Vermaak was TechCentral’s most popular podcast in November.

The often heated discussion, which is also now available in video format, saw the two men sparring over the future of Gauteng’s controversial e-tolling project.

According to analytics from podcast platform provider iono.fm, TechCentral’s interview with Foschini Group chief information officer Brent Curry placed second in November. That discussion focused on the retail group’s e-commerce efforts.

In third place was an interview with Luno country manager Marius Reitz on the cryptocurrency market and the growth plans for the South African crypto exchange.

A fascinating interview with former Nasa administrator Major-General Charles Bolden was fourth.  Bolden, who was on a tour of South Africa in November, has taken part in four space flights in his career, spending more than 680 hours outside Earth’s atmosphere. He piloted both the Space Shuttle Columbia and the Space Shuttle Discovery, and was intimately involved in projects such as building the International Space Station and the Hubble Space Telescope.

Rounding out the top five in November was episode 240 of the long-running TalkCentral podcast hosted by Duncan McLeod and Regardt van der Berg, in which they asked: is Apple pricing itself out of the market?
