Vodacom secures rights to live-stream FA Cup matches

Watch out, SuperSport! Vodacom, through its entertainment-streaming platform Video Play, has secured the rights to live-stream the 2018/2019 FA Cup football tournament. The games will be made available on a pay-per-view basis.

Full season tournament passes are also available for customers who want to watch more than just one game,” it said.

Video Play will next live-stream matches from the fourth round of the main tournament on Saturday, 26 January 2019, concluding with the final in May 2019, said Zunaid Mahomed, Vodacom’s group digital and fixed services officer. The company has not said how much it paid to secure the rights.
