Rand firmer as investors digest Reserve Bank decision

The rand was on track for its sixth session of gains on Friday as investors digested the SA Reserve Bank’s decision to keep interest rates unchanged.

The rand has continued to strengthen after the Bank’s monetary policy committee meeting, with movements guided by international monetary policy announcements by the US Federal Reserve and the Bank of England.
