Leaders need to be honoured: Nyati

Altron Group CEO, Mteto Nyati says it is important that leaders are honoured. Nyati has been named Business Leader of the Year at the All African Business Leaders Awards.

Over a period of 12 years, Mteto has held various leadership positions including at IBM in South Africa and Europe and Microsoft South Africa, where he was Managing Director for six years.

He was also MTN South Africa’s CEO  and now he is the Chief Executive at Altron.

Mteto is author of the book, Betting on a Darkie, a book about his life as a shopkeeper’s son, family man and business leader at local and multinational corporates

Speaking on Morning Live, he says it is great to be recognised by his colleagues.
