Manufacturing output down 2.1% year-on-year in February

South Africa’s manufacturing output fell 2.1% year-on-year in February, after contracting by a revised 1.8% in January, the statistics agency said on Tuesday.

On a month-on-month basis factory production was down 2.3% in February and declined 2.2% in the three months to the end of February, Statistics South Africa said.
