Masterclass for those who want to thrive in the AI era

Moneyweb has partnered with the Institute for Technology Strategy and Innovation (ITSI) and North-West University Business School to offer a ground-breaking new artificial intelligence (AI) course.

The four-day virtual course is specifically tailored for executives, senior managers and other professionals seeking to enhance their own productivity as well as that of their organisations.

ITSI has assisted numerous companies – including major financial, retail, and telecommunications firms – in leveraging AI productively through various bespoke courses. These companies have reported significant improvements in efficiency, cost savings and overall business performance.

This new masterclass programme is the first of its kind in the country and has been designed to allow those without any programming or technical skills to harness the power of AI.

The AI Masterclass will transfer practical skills in using ChatGPT and GPT-4 as well as numerous existing AI business management tools that can easily be integrated into any business.

These tools are designed to streamline and vastly improve business functions such as sales and marketing, accounting, risk management, HR, business processes and legal services.

The syllabus includes an introduction to the use of AI in business as well as modules focused on using AI:

• To improve your personal business performance;
• To optimise your company’s business processes; and
• As a tool to create your future.

All modules include practical workshops.

The AI Masterclass boasts an impressive line-up of presenters, each with notable qualifications and expertise in their respective fields:

Pieter Geldenhuys: An esteemed futurist and innovation expert, Geldenhuys holds a Master’s in Futures Studies from the University of Stellenbosch. With over 20 years’ experience in technology and innovation, he has helped numerous organisations and individuals prepare for the future by embracing emerging technologies and understanding their implications.

Nevo Hadas: A seasoned entrepreneur and digital strategist with an MBA from the University of Cape Town, Hadas is well-versed in the world of AI and its applications in business. He has successfully launched and managed numerous AI-driven projects, showcasing the power of technology in driving growth and innovation.

Ryk van Niekerk: Moneyweb editor and RSG Geldsake presenter, Van Niekerk holds an MBL from Unisa and an MPhil in Digital Journalism from the University of Stellenbosch. He has covered the technology and business sectors for over two decades. With a keen eye for trends and developments, he has been instrumental in spreading awareness about the potential of AI in various industries.
