South Africa’s net foreign reserves rose to $48.1bn in July
South Africa’s net foreign reserves rose to $48.114 billion in July from $45.738 billion in June, the Reserve Bank said on Friday.
Gross reserves increased to $57.876 billion from $52.320 billion. The forward position, which represents the central bank’s unsettled or swap transactions, increased to $1.529 billion from $555 million, it said.
