VIDEO | Households to pay more as municipal tariff increases kick in

Households will be paying more for their rates and taxes from this month, the 1st of July 2023.

Municipalities are expected to implement the new tariffs for key services such as electricity, water, property rates, refuse and sanitation.

However, some municipalities say they will strive to protect poor households from the increases.
