Priscillah Mabelane, CEO of BP Southern Africa, is stepping down from the board of Vodacom Group, the telecommunications operator said on Monday. She will leave at the end of the month.

Mabelane, a chartered accountant, has led BP for the past two years. She was previously the petroleum company’s chief financial officer.

Vodacom did not say why Mabelane was resigning from its board. Chairman Jabu Moleketi thanked her for her “valued contribution to the board and wished her much success with her future endeavours”. — (c) 2019 NewsCentral Media
